First Volunteering Event of Rotaract @ SFSU History!

Today was the first volunteering event that we participated in, and it was a fun and exciting one. We had the greatest opportunity to volunteer at the Exploratorium.
The early morning started off pretty well. We met up at the Embarcadero Bart Station, and everyone received their very first Rotaract pins!
When we arrived at the Exploratorium, we met with the Exploratorium program coordinator, Crystal. She helped us get settled in, and assigned specific roles. Four of the Rotaractors went on an exploration expedition around the Exploratorium. The other four Rotaractors helped with registration attendees into the conference. The Exploratorium was hosting a STEM conference specifically for science and art teachers.
During lunch, we assisted with directing where people can get their lunch boxes. Some of us ate our lunches first, and the other half the people ate hidden an aisle of books! Duy, a fellow Rotaractor, discovered this cool spot that faces out into the Exploratorium.
At the end of lunch, we finished our volunteering obligations at the Exploratorium and we were free to roam around the area. We decided to walk around and find interesting exhibits. One of the most interesting exhibits was circular, and push pushed with force steam blows out. Another fun exhibit was the one where different hues of color were reflected in the background as you moved.
