ROTARACT @ SF STATE GENERAL MEETING - THURSDAY MARCH 16TH

Hey everyone! 

We'll be having another general meeting tomorrow! Details are in the picture above!

This meeting will be green-themed in keeping with environmental issues. We have some green-themed events we'll be talking about this coming meeting. Hope you can come! Feel free to bring your friends. Afterwards we'll be playing boardgames and watching cartoons just to have a chill night before spring break.

Hello all!

Hope everyone has been having a great October so far! We've got lots of events in store for the rest of the semester and we hope we can meet more of you lovely folks out there who are interested in volunteering!

RECAP

First of all, we'd like to thank everyone who's been coming to our events for the last couple of weeks. We had a great turnout for our Board Game Social and met lots of new people.

 We also had a blast at the Italian Heritage Parade and got to know Rotary a bit more while also meeting USF's Rotaract chapter!

APRIL SHOWERS + Janet Pomeroy

Welcome back everyone! I hope you all have had an amazing spring break and are ready to get back into the grind! This upcoming month, we have 2 events, one volunteer and one social, and one will help lead into another event, which we will participate in, in May. Go check out the events page for more details!

04/09/2016 Sneak Preview 

Help us welcome our new prospective Gators for the next semester by being a Sneak Volunteer (helping set up the campus or guiding the crowd) or an Interact ambassador! To participate in this event, attending an orientation is mandatory! Check out the events page for more information and the forms to sign up!

04/22/2016 Board Game Night

Enjoy a night of classic and new board games before the May Midterm mayhem begins! It's also a fundraiser to help raise money for Janet Pomeroy's prom for disabled kids!

Where: Cesar Chavez Student Center - San Francisco State University

Time: 6:00 pm




As I have mentioned above, the Board Game Night is part fundraiser for the prom held by the Janet Pomeroy Recreation Center. "The mission of the Pomeroy Recreation and Rehabilitation Center is to provide recreational, vocational, and educational opportunities for people with disabilities through programs and services that encourage self-expression, promote personal achievement, and lead to greater independence." Last year, we got to participate by holding fun booths and keeping people company. There was a photo booth, as well as two people voted for King and Queen! To see what all the fun was about, scroll down our Instagram page here!

MARCH 3RD & HFH

To all those beautiful souls out there, hello! It's been a while since the last post but I hope everyone's been doing well! A lot of changes have happened over the gap, and I apologize for the long period of time, but it's time to get back into it!

First thing's first: MARCH 3RD. Come join us in MENCHU HALL at 6PM for a recap of last month's event, Little Brothers, as well as finding out more about this month's events that are coming up! All interested in officially joining Rotaract also have the opportunity to pay dues during this time. This meeting has lots of content, so stop by to take it all in! Can't wait to see you all there!

Second: HABITAT FOR HUMANITY.
Come join us on SATURDAY, MARCH 19th, to help build 28 single-family, GreenPoint-rated homes at One Capitol Avenue in San Francisco’s Oceanview neighborhood!

Come one, come all! It's time for the ceremony to occur! On Friday, November 13th, all those who paid club dues will be pinned and formally enter Rotaract as an official member, while our fellow officers will be inducted into the club. In addition, those who took the survey (plus paid fees) will finally be sorted into their respective families.

Agenda:

• Our current officers will officially be inducted for the 2015-2016 term.
• Those who paid will be able to be pinned and enter Rotaract as official members.
• Rotarian guests will assist with the pinning process.
